A short trip to the north shore of Lake Superior in early November, 2021.
We hit a cold spell and experienced the first snow of the season. It wasn't much but added some white to the otherwise dreary landscape. Once in a while we had a bit of sunshine but it was mostly overcast.
One evening we were at a little island (also called Tombolo) and the sun came out briefly, a few minutes later clouds moved in and it started snowing. It created some dramatic moods which are most welcomed for landscape photography!
Shanti loves to go on these camping trips and car rides - he behaves himself and is a good puppy! He can also walk longer distances now and seems to enjoy the hikes.
Enjoy this short trip and selection of photos.

Lovely scenes—it’s really rugged up there! I especially like the cedars.
