Shanti is almost 5 months old now and growing into a beautiful dog! He is truly becoming a retriever - fetching balls, frisbee etc. Picking up sticks on walks and bringing them home. His newest job is carrying the mail to the house (I have a long driveway) and he is so proud of himself. I have to give him treats before he gets the idea to rip the mail apart!
He also got to experience the first snow and had a lot of fun digging in it. He is very attracted to water and has to wade and/or swim in it even in below freezing temperatures.
One last trip to Lake Superior before the cold temperatures arrived was very enjoyable. Shanti jumped in the lake to retrieve sticks. And of course he had to dig in the sand one more time!
