SEEING BEAUTY - Photography as visual poetry, part 6

Whenever I read these words - I am profoundly touched, in awe and amazement.
Somewhere in my heart I know this to be true .... so I am holding on, trust and have faith.

MY BRILLIANT IMAGE

One day the sun admitted,
I am just a shadow.
I wish I could show you
The Infinite Incandescence (Tej)
That cast my brilliant image!
I wish I could show you,
When you are lonely or in darkness,
The Astonishing Light
Of your own Being!

SEEING BEAUTY - Photography as visual poetry, part 5

The long, cold and cloudy winter days in the midwest can be depressing. Sometimes there can be a benefit in feeling this loneliness as Hafiz expresses it so lovingly in this poem.  I see the bright side and the blessings - be still, quiet my mind and turn inwards.

MY EYES SO SOFT

Don't surrender your loneliness
So quickly.
Let it cut more deep.
Let it ferment and season you
As few human
Or divine ingredients can.
Something missing in my heart tonight
Has made my eyes so soft,
My voice
So tender,
My need of God
Absolutely
Clear.

SEEING BEAUTY - Photography as visual poetry, part 4

Living without expectations, without wanting and grasping - how liberating!!

THE SUN NEVER SAYS

Even
After
All this time
The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe
Me."
Look
What happens
With a love like that,
It lights the
Whole
Sky.
