I experienced one of the most amazing sunsets along the north shore of Lake Superior. We took a short trip up north to get away from all the US election drama. We arrived at Split Rock Lighthouse an hour before sunset, on November 2nd, 2020. The following photos were taken within that hour and are documenting the change in color and mood. Right around sunset the colors intensified and it looked like the sky was on fire. Everything seemed to be bathed in a blue/pink/violet light. These photos look like they are over saturated but they really aren't.
