Typically November is a cloudy, rainy, grey and at times miserable month here in Northern Wisconsin. But not so this year. Temperatures were mostly mild with one cold spell that caused many lakes to freeze in a short time period.
We had many amazing sunrises and sunsets with brilliant colored skies. I was able to capture only a handful with my camera.
The highlight for me was the sunset and sunrise at Lake Superior near Bayfield. I spent a couple of days there right before Thanksgiving. The sky was exploding with intense orange/red colors and dark blue clouds! It is rare that I can watch a Lake Superior sunrise so I was very grateful for the opportunity.
The following day was overcast but the clouds added a lot of interest to the landscape
The last 2 images are from early December - a glorious sunset at Audie Lake in the Blue Hills.
Enjoy, Susanne
