Early Fall colors and a pink sunset

Fall seemed to have arrived early here in the north woods (Blue Hills area in Rusk County, Wisconsin). But then looking back it is actually right on time. The last 2-3 years the fall colors didn't peak until the first week of October so we were a little bit off.
Summer ended so abruptly that I wasn't ready for fall yet. But here it is and I am looking forward to my favorite time of the year.
On September 15. 2020 I experienced an unusual sunset - the setting sun was actually pink but I wasn't able to capture it quite the way I saw it. Due to the massive wildfires out West the smoke arrived in Wisconsin and created a hazy atmosphere turning the sky and setting sun into an eerie mood.

As always, thanks for viewing and enjoy!

Most of the hummingbirds left late August/early September. A few stragglers showed up until Sept. 14
