I think like many of us I am asking myself where did 2022 go? It seemed like it passed in a blink of an eye.
As always I look back and choose some of my favorite photos throughout the seasons. I did not manage to do any night shooting (Milky Way, northern lights) and only 2-3 times was I able to see the full moon rising.
Like in the past 2 years I stayed pretty much in my area and visited Lake Superior a few times. So nothing really new but I never tire of what I see and experience at locations that are familiar.
I was able to go to Lake Superior at the end of the winter and see a good amount of ice. It is a beautiful time to visit you just have to dress warm.
The other highlight was autumn - certainly my favorite time of the year. I went on a very long hike with my dog Shanti in Tettegouche State park (Minnesota) . I wrote a blog about that here: https://soulcenteredphotography.blogspot.com/2022/10/hiking-in-tettegouche-state-park.html
We had an early snowfall in mid October while the trees still had some fall colors - always a pretty sight.

Right after Thanksgiving a new fur kid joined my family. His name is Shiloh and I found him at the local shelter. He is about 5 months old and him and Shanti are great buddies.
